Micromax Q5C comes with mammoth battery power - Micromax Q5C Review

Micromax Q5C

I was looking for some decent CDMA phone with QWERTY keyboard so typing SMS and browsing internet is easy. I am also lazy to re-charge my phone and end up many times searching for chargers and power points.

About 15 days back I bought Micromax Q5C for only Rs. 4300/- from Mumbai Suburb. I shifted the Reliance CDMA OMH SIM card to this phone. This phone has amazing sound quality and great reception. Internet also is comparatively faster. Above all what I liked most about this phone is battery. In last 15 days I’ve not recharged the phone at all. I couldn’t believe that 1300 mAh Li-ion Battery can last so long.

I do get very minimum or no calls on this mobile, but 15 days without recharge is mammoth battery power.

I could transfer contacts from my old phone to Q5C using bluetooth feature.

Definitely recommended for the people who look for great battery power on CDMA phones.

Features:
  • CDMA 800 MHz (Tested and works with Tata and Reliance CDMA SIM cards)
  • Full QWERTY keypad
  • Facebook ready
  • Multi-messenger – Nimbuzz
  • Opera mini browser for fast Internet surfing
  • 2 megapixel camera to take photos and record videos
  • LED Flash
  • Sound Recorder
  • FM Radio
  • Opera Mini Browser
  • Support Java Applications
  • 3 pre-loaded Games (Push box, Tetris and Snake)
  • Up to 4 GB expandable MicroSD slot on left side
  • Also can charge from USB directly
  • Blue Tooth connectivity
  • Support Phone Modem connectivity through PC.
Cons:
  • There is no GPS
  • You can not sync contacts with PC
  • PC connectivity features are not so good
  • Camera is not very advanced.
