Father of Java goes to Google

It is sad that the man who invented Java is no more working for Sun. James Gosling Joins Google to try out the road he often traveled instead of taking new road. What can be possible strategy for Google to hire James Gosling. Google is not Java veteran in real life implementation. In fact Google is no different from IBM or Oracle looking to what they did to Java implementation at GWT and Android. So what do you think where James Gosling expertise will be utilized. I guess definitely Google will try to enhance Java support on Chrome and Android to start with. May be bridge gap between J2ME and Android. James also can provide expertise on fresh initiatives to port Google Earth and Chrome browser on multiple platforms. What needs to be seen is how both Google and Gosling adapt with each other on expectations.
